Dewpoint Literary Journal seeks to publish literary works of poetry, prose, and criticism that are polished, well-crafted, and image-driven. Dewpoint is looking for work that employs a strong voice and that is concerned, primarily, with the image. The editors appreciate work that has been peer-reviewed, edited, revised, and fine-tuned to the best of the author’s ability. Perhaps most importantly, the editors believe that the strongest writers are also the strongest, most avid readers. The Dewpoint staff is greatly honored to publish work that speaks greatly to the current literary/critical conversation.
As we read blindly, please do not include your name on any of the files you submit.
Please submit one short story (up to 4000 words) or up to three pieces of flash fiction as a single document.
Please submit up to 5 poems in a single document.
Please submit one essay (up to 4000 words) or up to three pieces of flash nonfiction as a single document.
Please submit one critical essay (up to 4000 words, not including bibliography). All critical works should conform to the latest version of the MLA style guide. Please include all bibliographic information.
We’re all writers too, so simultaneous submissions are, of course, acceptable. Just be a neighbor and let us know as soon as your work gets accepted elsewhere.
